Kanādas egle Conica December
DESCRIPTION

Picea glauca 'Conica December' in a pot will do well indoors. However, if you plan to plant it in the garden in the spring, the time it spends indoors should be as short as possible.

To prevent the tree from drying out indoors, it should be watered daily with ~200-300 ml of water (the amount of water may vary depending on indoor conditions - temperature, humidity, location, etc.). Do not allow the tree to dry out - this will kill the tree.

Spruce trees come in black plastic pots with drainage holes in the bottom. We recommend that you consider a tray or decorative pot early on. Take a look at the trays and pots we also offer.

When you are ready to plant your Christmas tree, you should gradually move it to a cooler temperature after it has been indoors for a while. This means that before planting, you should move it from the house to a cooler place, such as a garage, stairwell, shed, etc. It is an undemanding and slow-growing spruce that will not take over much of the garden after a few years. A mature spruce will only grow to a height of ~1 m.

It is also suitable for growing in a pot, e.g. on a balcony, terrace, porch, by the front door, etc.

Important! Do not touch the top of the tree with your hands. Natural oils on the skin can affect the needles. The tree can be lifted and moved by holding its pot.
