DESCRIPTION

Our potted Nordmann firs have a full root system because they are grown in pots from the beginning, not dug up in a nursery and planted in a pot. Each year the trees are transplanted to larger pots so that they do not run out of room in the pots.

Because they grow in pots, it is not possible to grow them very large. Larger trees can run out of root space and the tree will no longer grow thick and symmetrical. That is why we offer Nordmann firs in pots up to 1.50 m (including the height of the pot).

Nordmann fir in pot will last up to ~4 weeks indoors. If you plan to plant the tree in the garden in the spring, the time indoors should be as short as possible, a maximum of 10-12 days is recommended. If it is obvious that the tree is not feeling well indoors, it is preferable to move it outdoors sooner.

To prevent the tree from drying out indoors, it should be watered daily with ~300-400ml of water (the amount of water may vary depending on indoor conditions - temperature, humidity, location, etc.).

Firs come in black plastic pots with drainage holes in the bottom. We recommend that you consider a tray or decorative pot in advance. Take a look at the trays and pots we also offer.

The Nordmann fir in pot is ideal for homes with small children because the needles are soft and they cannot hurt themselves.
