Ordering a Christmas tree

If you choose to order a Christmas tree from EGĻU SERVISS, you will get a top quality tree, because our employees make a careful selection, so that customers who choose a Christmas tree without having seen it before are never disappointed and get only the best.

  • To place an order, please select the goods and services you require and fill in your customer and delivery details.
  • Please note that Christmas tree deliveries are scheduled in advance, so when you place an order, the nearest possible delivery date will most likely be the next business day.
  • Upon receipt of your order, a representative from the company will contact you to confirm your order and clarify any questions. Please note that orders are processed between 9:00 and 17:30 on weekdays.

Trees are delivered, set up, and dismantled on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. In some cases, other delivery times can be arranged by contacting the manager (info@egluserviss.lv, 26533388).

  • If the delivery address is incorrect or the recipient is not present, delivery of the tree may be delayed or canceled.
  • Please note that delivery times are approximate and may vary due to weather, traffic and other conditions.
  • If the tree is to be delivered higher than the 2nd floor, there is an additional charge of EUR 3.00 for each additional floor. There is no additional charge if the trees can be delivered to the higher floors by elevator.
  • Please note that large trees, due to their size, may not be able to be delivered above the ground floor (either by elevator or stairs).
  • You can pay for your order in cash or by bank transfer. If you choose to pay by bank transfer, you will receive an invoice that must be paid before the agreed delivery/installation date. If you wish to pay by cash, you must hand it to the SIA "EGĻU SERVISS" personnel at the time of delivery, before the delivery/installation.
  • In case of untimely cancellation of the order, the Customer shall pay to the Contractor a penalty amounting to 25% of the total amount of the order. The term "untimely notice" means a period of less than one full working day prior to the scheduled delivery date.
  • The size of cut trees is determined by measuring from the sawing point to the top; for potted trees, the size is determined together with the pot. The size may be slightly larger (up to 20 cm) but not smaller than the specified size.
If you choose our installation:
  • Large trees ( over 3 m) and trees placed outdoors must be tied down for safety reasons, so there must be a lawn, poles, trees, pillars or similar objects to tie the tree to. If the tree cannot be secured in such a way, the customer is responsible for any movement of the tree due to wind or other external conditions. Tree ties are not included in the installation price.
  • Prices quoted for tree installation may vary depending on location, complexity and equipment required.
  • Installation does not include a tree stand. It can be ordered separately or you can provide your own stand.
  • If you order our installation service and use your own tree stand, please ensure that it is suitable for the size and type of tree. If the stand is not suitable, the employees of "EGĻU SERVISS" will inform you and in this case "EGĻU SERVISS" is not responsible for the stability of the tree.
  • Tree stands for Christmas trees from 4m to 6m are made to order.
If you choose our Christmas tree dismantling / removal service:
  • "EGĻU SERVISS" offers a full service, including dismantling and removal after the holidays.
  • Dismantling and removal will be carried out in the first half of January (until 19.01.2025). From 20.01.2025 dismantling can be ordered, but transport costs will be charged extra.
  • In this case, transportation costs for dismantling and removal of the trees will be the same as for delivery. Starting point is Riga, 44a Ulbrokas Street.
  • The removal and dismantling prices do not include any additional equipment that may be required (hoist, crane, etc.). Such additional equipment is necessary in cases where the large tree cannot be felled for sawing.
  • Dismantling of the Christmas tree includes removal of the tree, sawing if necessary, collection of debris (branches, needles) and transportation of the tree. Please note that some needles may remain in the room after dismantling.
Rules for the care and placement of Christmas trees:
  1. Do not place the tree in drafts or near heating equipment (near the stove, radiator, boiler, etc.).
  2. Do not place your Christmas tree in areas where the temperature changes frequently and rapidly (e.g. near the front door).
  3. It is recommended that cut Christmas trees be kept in water indoors.
  4. Do not place the tree where people walk by and touch it frequently. This will cause the tree's needles to fall off.
  5. Note that in public areas, the tree should not be placed where visitors can trip over it or accidentally knock it over.
  6. In homes and apartments, secure the tree so that children or pets cannot accidentally knock it over.
